Prime Day: The Comfy Clothes Edit
This year, on Prime Day, I don’t find myself with much use for gadgets, as Prime Day is so fond of marking down. What I need is comfy clothes, as we’re heading into the frosty phase of Pandemic 2020 and I don’t want to meet the business end of a zippered waist any time soon. Prime Day can be overwhelming, so below I’ve compiled a comfy clothes edit with this audience in my mind, and plenty of soft, stretchy fabrics in my cart.
Leopard Print Loungewear: Look, when this pandemic is over, it’s ball gowns and high heels for the foreseeable. But until then, stretchy pants. This adorable leopard print lounge set is 15% off, making it $45.90 for the set. Once you select your size, you’ll see the price marked down. (Such is true of all the items in this edit, I’m not sure why Amazon does these things.)
Puff Sleeve Sweatshirt: If you’d like to try your own puff sleeve moment at a 15% markdown, this is the top for you. What I love about this one is the color range, but more importantly the size range! It runs from XXS to XXL! This color is my fave, but we both know I’ll spill on it. We both know.
Sweater Coat Coatigan Thingy: Look, this is just a robe with a better resume, but I’m here for it. Whatever you call these things, this one is currently 30% off, coming in at $24.50 and ready to defend you against any random draft that tries to breeze its way through your apartment. It comes in six different colors but I’m partial to this camel shade shown here.
Classic Legging: These leggings are currently marked down to $12.60. I repeat, $12.60. I am of the opinion that it’s physically impossible to own too many leggings. I am also of the opinion that my favorite pairs always seem to escape my wardrobe in the night, too. I like to think they go to Paris, but what do I know.
Perfect Maxi Dress: Here’s a little secret, this dress is $28 and it’s not even a Prime Day sale! I just want to tell you about it because it’s that cute and that essential. Running from XS to XXL, this is the ideal autumn dress for getting socially distanced coffees with friends, or if you want to just throw it on and haunt your own house. Up to you.
Wrap Puffer: I actually have a sneaky suspicion that this coat is going to be the “mom jacket” of 2020. It’s typically $85 but currently marked down to $60! I love a giant collar and a belted waist. I am also not upset about these sleeping bag vibes.
Actually Cute Rain Boots: Is it a prerequisite that rain boots be ugly and hard to walk in? I feel like it might be. Anyway, these cuties are VERY marked down at the moment and just might solve my ugly rain boot issue for good. I love the little heel and plush lining. Pay attention to when these are going to be in stock and shipping!
Z Supply Sweatshirt: I’ve been very open about my Z Supply obsession, I am enamored with the quality of the clothes and the fact that when I wear them, they don’t actually seem to be touching my body. The Weekender is one of the brand’s most classic styles, shown here in a leopard print. (Which, by the way, I maintain is a neutral.) It’s 15% off right now, and I NEVER see current Z Supply styles on sale, only items from past seasons.
Tee Shirt 3-Pack: Also by Z Supply, this tee shirt three pack is perfect for anyone who wore their favorite tees right to the ground over the summer. They’re 15% off and the price works out to about $30 per tee, which is minuscule when you calculate your cost-per-wear. My plan: throw on the leggings shown above, one of these babies, the coatigan show above, and never leave home again. Byeeeeeee.
Lounge Bra: If you even still believe in bras, the lounge bra is most likely the only one that’s still acceptable. Bralettes are a favorite of mine, but also just anything that’s never looked in the general direction of a wire. This one is very highly rated and comes in at 40% off! This is another super cute option that’s a little more tank-like.
Pastel Cuteness Lounge Set: I mean maybe you just want to dress like a comfortable unicorn, and who am I to stop you?
Eberjey Giselle: The absolute CADILLAC of pajamas are on sale for 15% off and much like a rare comet passing the earth, you need to see this. If I’m honest, I never see the black ones marked down, only the colors I DON’T want, of course. But these are my dream pajamas, I own two sets, and they’re on sale. These are literally the only pajamas I won’t cook or bake in, I’m too scared to ruin them with my kitchen antics.
